Wulgulmerang Trip

WULGULMERANG TRIP

Hi folks, here is the continuation of my post of our trip to Wulgulmerang, Victoria, we travelled from the northern part of Queensland... we started the day with a searing heat and this signage caught   my imagination , what came to my my mind is the Disneyland that is full of joyful activities and this place is quite the opposite ...

and a long stretch of straight empty   road in front of us ...

this is the Burdekin River flood gauge and the highest recorded flooding is as tall as this post showing how deep it was when typhoon Yasi struck northern Queensland .this time the river 's almost  dry ...

a never ending parch land along the way ...

time to stretch our legs after sometime ☺...

some road repairs that slowed us a little bit ...

this is quite interesting to look at, an old gold mine equipment , must have been hard mining during those days with this kind of machinery ...

a lovely bridge  with all those happy ducks ... ☺

aren't these flowers lovely even in the dark ? ...

                day 1 , here i am worn out ...
